Mango is a sweet fruit that makes a splendid topping for all kinds of savory dishes, including beans & rice, chicken and seafood.

Always use homemade salsa recipes instead of the processed, store-bought kind that are loaded with chemicals, preservatives and refined sugar. Fresh food is where it’s at!

Mango salsa recipe ingredients:

You will need:

  • 1 Mango, diced
  • 2 tbsp red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp red onions or scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp jalapeno, finely chopped
  • Juice of 1/2 orange juice
  • 2 tbsp mint, finely chopped


  • 1 chopping knife
  • 1 cutting board


Chop all ingredients according to instruction and place in bowl. Cut orange in half and, with your hands, squeeze juice from 1/2 orange on top of the chopped ingredients. Mix together thorougly. Ready to eat!

Use healthy, homemade condiments made from fresh ingredients instead of store-bought, junky dressings and sauces. Trust me on this one: fresh foods have ALL the flavor!

The reason all those packaged foods you get at the grocery store have so many ingredients (most of them unpronounceable chemicals) is because they have to: they don’t have any flavor of their own, so chemists in a lab somewhere insert additives to make them taste like something.  They are amazingly good at disguising the tastelessness of fake, dead food.
