Mango dessert recipes: How to make Mango Ice Cream:
You will need:
1 fresh mango, with skin removed and cut into chunks
4 frozen bananas* (Simply peel the bananas and pop them in your freezer before you go to bed at night. When you wake up, they’ll be ready for you).
*For maximum flavor, make sure your bananas are fully ripe before you freeze them! Never use unripe bananas in your recipes. They should have plenty of brown spots, like this:
1) Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer about 45 minutes before preparation, in order to slightly soften them.
2) Place the mango chunks into your high-speed blender and blend until smooth. DO NOT ADD WATER!!!
3) Add the frozen bananas and blend until smooth. You may have to stop the blender a couple of times and stir the mixture if it becomes stuck in the blades. Stop blending once it reaches a creamy and smooth consistency.
Ready to eat immediately!
This low fat dessert recipe is so good for you, it can be enjoyed any time of day, including breakfast! This is a quick and easy treat you can whip up in minutes (if you’re like me, you don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen).
TIP: If you really wanna indulge your sweet tooth, add 3 pitted and chopped medjool dates to this recipe. Add them to your high speed blender along with the frozen bananas and blend until very smooth and creamy.
If you want easy to make dessert recipes with the consistency of whipped air, then I cannot more highly recommend the Vita-mix blender. It’s an investment of money, but I can honestly say it’s worth every penny. Finally giving up those cheap blenders and getting a Vita-mix professional blender was, for me, like getting out of a twenty year old pickup truck and sliding behind the wheel of a BMW! One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
