My cherry recipes are some of my tastiest fruit smoothie recipes.
Smoothies are meant to showcase the natural flavors in fruits…
For that reason, I leave out unnecessary and unhealthy ingredients like sorbet, ice cream, milk and powders, and I only use fresh, ripe fruits. You don’t even need to add water!

How to make my Cherry Smoothie Recipe:
Cherry Chunk Smoothie Ingredients:
1 cup of frozen cherries (make sure the only ingredient is cherries. Don’t buy frozen cherries if they have added sweeteners like sugar or “fruit juice”!
4 room-temperature ripe bananas
YOU DO NOT NEED TO ADD WATER!!!*
Are your bananas ripe?
They’re ripe when they have plenty of brown spots. They should look like this:
Eating fruit only when it’s ripe is super important for us healthy eaters…
Only when fruit is ripe are the flavors and the nutrients “unlocked” and able to be digested easily by our bodies. Remember: unripe fruit = constipation, bloating + gas!
Unripe bananas taste and smell starchy, have little flavor and are hard to peel. Ripe bananas smell and taste sweet and they peel easily.
Cherry Chunk Smoothie Directions:
You will blend the smoothie in 2 stages!
1) Place the ripe bananas into your blender and blend until smooth. You do not need to add water, however, if and only if your blender has trouble blending the bananas by themselves, add no more than1/4 cup water.
2) Add the frozen cherries and blend until very smooth and creamy.
In five minutes, you can have delicious cherry smoothie recipes. Forget fattening, unhealthy pastries and frozen waffles. This is breakfast-on-the-go done right!
